Build
Quoting an extruded profile means reading the drawing, working out material, scrap, line time and setup, then pricing every quantity the customer asked about. This workflow reads the customer, compound, tolerances and cross-section area off the drawing, has a person check what it read, and prices each quantity with the full cost breakdown behind it.
Agentic behaviors
- Reads the drawing number, customer, compound, tolerances and cross-section area from an uploaded drawing, matching the customer and compound against the price book
- Puts everything it read in front of a person before pricing, and asks for the terms no drawing carries — annual usage, quantities, part length and pack size
- Prices each quantity as its own tier with a deterministic calculation engine — material, scrap, setup, labor and burden, secondary operations and packaging — with no language model in the arithmetic
- Marks a quote provisional when its area was never checked by a person or read below 0.8 confidence, and warns when a compound price is more than 180 days old

Options
- Require a person to verify the area before a quote is issuedWhen on, a quote priced on an extracted area stays provisional until someone measures or checks it. When off, it can be issued with the provisional warning attached.
Governance requirements
- Every price breaks down into its cost components and calculation steps, so a reviewer can check the number rather than trust it
