Estimators lose hours measuring 2D engineering drawings by hand before a quote can be drafted. This workflow reads the drawing, measures cross-section area and pulls the key dimensions, so the numbers a quote depends on come from the drawing rather than from re-keying.

Options
- Require estimator sign-off before a measurement reaches a quoteWhen on, a measurement must be confirmed by an estimator before it can be used in a customer quote. When off, measurements flow straight into the draft quote.

- Every measurement returns the region it was taken from, so a reviewer can verify rather than trust
- Measurements are advisory — a person signs off before a quote is issued to a customer
- Uploaded drawings are processed in an isolated sandbox tenant and not retained for training
